Is the Secondary O2 sensor wire harness part of the dash harness or is that seperate from the dash harness? I need the secondary O2 sensor harness but is not sure. Can someone please help me out????? I'm trying to hook up the secondary O2 on my 96EK but don't want to deal with rewiring it...So i was wondering if I can just use the secondary O2 harness from the civic EX......Let me know

 

there is only one type of o2 sensor plug, if it the DX engine wire harness it should be close to each other unless it got cut off...becuz on the DX engine the o2 sensor is before and after the cat.

 

Oh I was using an EX harness for my 99 si swap....So i don't have the secondary O2 harness cause its on the EX car...Thats why i was wondering if the secondary O2 sensor's harness was independent from the Dash harness.

 

o2 senser wiring is on the engine harness...if your using the SI wire harness if im correct it should be in the back were the cat is gonna be...there only 2 plugs for the o2 sensor if you know what one look like you should be able to find it...like i said before unless someone cut that off then your gonna have to find the wires and re-wire it

 

Only the EX harness, there's only the primary O2 sensor plug, but not the secondary O2 plug...The secondary O2 harness plug is the the car itself...I was wondering if the harness was independent from the dash harness...Thats all...I'm using the EX harness

 

ok i got a question now, these wires, are they the original wires off of the car becuz im confuse now, unless you have ODB1 wire harness it wouldnt come with a secondary o2 sensor...

 

Yes these are original wires that are on the car....Remember its OBD2...Everythings more complicated....I know for sure that the secondary O2 wires are on the EX chasis but just want to know if they were independent for the Dash harness.
