Default Looking to purchase 04 EP3 quick questions?

I'm looking to pick up an 04 EP3, the dealer states that the 04 now has a timing chain instead of a belt. Is this true? Did the 02-03 have a timing belt? Also, what is the going rate for an 04 EP3, the one I'm looking at has 14 miles on it. Thanks

I am 92% sure all K-series have chains instead of timing belts.

invoice is 17.4 plus destination charge 500 dollars, so $17.9. The EP is not a good seller so you can pretty much get it way less than that price. got mine for 16.5 before taxes. and thats not even a good deal.

Yeah I offered the dealer 16.5, they said 16.7, anyways I know the car isn't selling because they had to jump the battery it's been sitting so long, it was completely covered in dirt and dust. They only had 3 there. I think I'm gonna aim for 16.5.

wow, they had to jump start it. well, if it's an 04 then there is no reason that you shouldnt get it below 16.5. plus they have 3 old ones on the lot. other thing is that you live in fricking nebraska. Just keep saying your strongly thinking about buying the car and leave your info and they'll call you a week or two later after the 04 is still sitting in the lot.

Sorry, but i feel that leases are a big waste on money. You are gonna pay ~10,000 and get nothing in the end and still pay insurance on top of that.

leases get a big from me

bah they'll sell me a black one for 16.5 but not the white one, gaydm. I like black, but i'd rather have white, black is so hard to keep clean.

Any other dealerships in your area? Call another one up, see if they have white, then tell them what you were offered by your local place.
Most dealers seem to be very happy to even have the chance at getting an ep3 off the lot...

Surprisingly, your video put me over the top on getting an EP3, and I was looking to eventually do the K20A swap, but I can't do both right now. I was going to do the swap when I graduate in the spring.

if your going to do a swap that fast, then might as well buy a used ep. Plus a good advantage of getting the black ep is that if you wanted to get the jdm bumpers then you wouldnt have to paint them.

I want to start from a fresh slate. I like the fact that it's a 5 lug, and I like the newer headlights. I want to do things right this time.
