Hi, i've been rackin my brain on this car and i have a feeling it may be something i am missing...

starts and runs great, warms to normal temp, sometimes 10 minutes sometimes 60 minutes, engine dies, CEL comes on. Not sure of the code, getting one long flash(2 seconds) and five fast flashes... is this 15 or 05?

if i turn the key on, and the check engine light is on, and goes back off, it will start. if it comes on and stays on, it won't start.

after car dies, engine still has fire to the plugs.but won't run., coil, ignitor, and all the dist sensors (TDC,etc) seem to be at the proper ohm readings. Plenty of fuel pressure to the injectors. Ignition switch tests good. if its gettting fire, why is it dying? Is there something like a relay for fuel injectors maybe? any other ideas?

Code 15 is Ignition Output Signal; missing or defective ignition output signal.

I would look into your chiltons/haynes/helms/service manual and see what it says in regards to testing your ignition.

If that doesn't fix it then my 2nd guess would be main relay.
