Boost ? ? ? ?
I have a 88 Hatch with a stock D15b2 and I have a lot of Free engines/parts from friends.
My plans are to put a D16a6 w/ 75K bottom in with the Stock D15b2 head with a D15b7 intake mani with Multi-port injection then install my T-25 turbo with intercooler and a either V-afc or S-afc.
Has anyone done anything like this?
Any Ideas why this might not work or any info to improve this plan - - - Remember this is all Free parts and I'm only doing this to have fun till I finish building my B18c1, 13:1 c/r, Toda b's.

you wont get the horsepower that you want with the d15 head on, the intake manifold you can use though, i had a d15 and put a d16 in and kept the d15 intake manifold. its not much horsepower gain but it will probably run better
its not the head that would give u problems its the cam....its not much but its good to turbo and have some fun do it.....wont hurt but ur gonna need a headgasket and **** why bother with the block swapping leave the d15 together do mpfi turbo it and drive the **** outa it

I was thinking about boosting the 1.5 but I have a a6 bottom just sitting around and I thought the extra .1 might give a little extra hp. . . . but, maybe not.
As far as the Head gasket . . I work at Acura and can get them for pretty close to free. and work would be done by me so I have really Very little to pay for.

its just safer to do the 1.6 head with the 1.6 block if you find a head you will need a 1.6 distributor and a p28 ecu, the 1.5 distributor wont bolt onto the 1.6 head
my d16 block sounds like its ready to go so if anyone knows anyone selling one for cheap let me know. i just need one to get me through the winter so i can finish my ls

Thats my plan.
I plan to boost to around 10 psi and hopefully get about a month or two out of it and then put my 200+ hp GSR into the gutted hatch

I'm a mechanic at Acura and most of my friends are either Acura or Honda Mechanic's and we all collectivlly have over 57 cars out of 14 people.
a lot of the spare engines and parts come from broken t-belts or hydro-lock's.
