help: disassembly & reassembly of tial 38 mm?
I recenty installed my system... and for some clearance issues, I had to clock the banjo fitting relative to the flange portion... I ended up disassembling the wastegate... I have now reassembled it, but wanted to know if I did it properly. In particular the seating of the diamphram.
I've got a boost leak some where and want to double check everything I did.
Does anyone have proper instructions available and would post them. I bought the wastegate used. So, I don't know what information came with it. I've googled it, and searched here, but came up dry.
Thanks alot.

I see. I should take it apart and make sure then. I thought there may be some special way of seating or something.
Thanks for the tip.

STAN, you are the MAN!!!
I took it back apart and it WAS pinched (two places)... The diaphragm is not torn... However... due to the clamping... there is a crease in the it... Is it still ok? I would imagine... after a couple hot cycles... it would straighten it itself out...
Edit: Would that be a source of my boost problems??? Not holding boost that is...
