Default Wastegate Flutter

I've searched and searched and didnt find anything....

I feel stupid askin this bc I feel that I should know and I dont....

So anyways, What exactly causes wastegate flutter??

I was trying to figure it out on my own and I thought that its just an external wastegate that open to the atmosphere not using a boost controller, just using the wastegate spring to control boost......HOW FAR OFF AM I ON THIS?

Are we talking about the wastgate or the blow off valve?

BUMP

Im not sure if it is the wastegate or not.....could be something else....but in general Im speaking about the flutter experienced when you let off the gas after accelerating

That would be your bov not your wg.
Try hooking your bov to a stronger vacuum source. I had the same problem until i found a better vacuum source

Check all of your intercooler pipings and couplings. It might have slipped, causing some boost to leak out.

BTW, it's the BOV that's making the "fluttering" noise when you let off the throttle. Trust me, you'll know what an EXTERNAL WASTEGATE sounds like! *Like a pissed off semi truck barreling down the highway*
