Problem at 3000 rpm when COLD - please help.
I have a strange problem: when I start my car especially in the morning, when the outside temerature is below 10 degrees (Celcius) it starts instantly and idles correctly. But when I press the acceleration pedal, no matter if I am on neutral or ride, at about 2800-3200 rpm the engine shakes, and I hear some kind of shots.
But when the engine temperature raises just a little (even before the first part of temp display comes on) this phenomene goes out.
I exclude ignition system: the cap and rotor have maybe 25000 km, the spark plugs and wires are almost new. The ignition coil is quite recent too.
The valves are adjusted correctly.
In my feeling it looks like some kind of temperature sensor, I repeat if it is above 10 degrees (still Celcius), the problem does not exists.

No and no.
It is not normal because it is a cold engine. I have driven many cars and it is not as you suggest.
It shakes like crazy, it is like you would play with the ignition on and off very quickly.

does the check engine light come on when that happens? it could be a number of things.
-bad fuel
-dirty injectors
-clogged fuel filter
-bad electrical connections/grounds at the injectors
-bad iat sensor
-other bad sensor.
a suggestion.. right after it shakes like that, shut the engine off right away and look at the plugs.
