Default FMU and Boost Problem, More boost more Fuel PSi

Seems as though whenever i boost my car the fuel pressure gauge inside the car goes up. If i boost 5 it stays at about 50psi, when i go to about 10 psi it goes to around 100psi, Is the FMU bad, i pulled out the Fmu and the problem seemed to have gone away.

Thats what an FMU does. They come with several different diaphragms. Lets say you have a 10:1 FMU. For every 1 psi of boost, fuel pressure increases 10 psi.

You pulled the FMU!?!? Ummmmm, that's what's giving you that extra fuel you need for boost so you don't lean out and go boom. You may wanna think about putting that one back in there.

haha, i seriously can't believe some of the stuff I am reading these days. If you don't know what things are on your car and what they do.... don't touch your car.

No seriously though guys, I do have a problem.

I was working on my car yesterday and I realized that my stupid injectors are spraying gasoline into my engine!! What do you think the problem is? Should I get new injectors? I hope the gasoline doesn't ruin my engine.

(sorry to be a dick to the original poster )

Eh, sorry. We're jerks when it comes to amusing ourselves. But hey - at least you know there isn't a problem!

I know how it is though. With cars, it always seems so complicated until you know...
