alright, i got a gsr that i am going to be swaping into my civic. the gsr is obdI and my car is obdII. the thing is i have 2 ecu's that i can use. i have a obdII ecu from a si and a obdI ecu. If I want to use my obdII ecu do i need to get a obdII distributor? And if i want to use the obdI ecu will i only need a harness? Thanks...
thats illegal in cali. only way that I know to get it to run right is to swap over all of the components of the motor to obd2 spec(fuel injectors, distributer, misc sensors, and obd2 intake mani) then run a obd2-1 jumper and run a obd1 ecu.
but its still illegal. your best bet would be to sell the motor and buy a obd2 motor to save money and be legit.... or buy a EG chassis.
