Right below the throttle body and no you do not need it, it is ment to warm up your car.
Vaccume lines can go in any order you want or eliminate them, I only have one for the FPR.

You have 1st Gen B16a, we have FITV ( fast idle thermo vlave) located on the actual manifold. That aebs manifold is made for 94 Del sol VTEC, and 99 SI civic. They have the FITV mounted right onto the actual throttlebody. SO there is no hole to mount the fitv on for you. Just leave it off and bypass the coolant lines. I used to have this same manifold. I know a lot of 1st Gen b16as have a problem with idleing really high like 2500 for a couple minutes untill it warms, even when you tap the gas it still doesnt drop. This is normal becuase of the fact that you only have 1 wire O2 sensor, and FITV. but once you take that FITV off, it will idle right where it should be roght off the bat. Just let it warm up a bit before you go out cruisin. The big line is for break power booster line. the other 2 or three vacume lines are for the vacume lines that were on the front of the manifold, AEBS moves them to the back so it looks very clean and "show Like" ? hOPE SOME OF THIS HELPS?

do you have the 2nd gen fuel rail...if not have fun fabbing the sensor, and fpr to fit...also test fit it to make sure you don't have to remove any material from the flange...i just installed mine and with the 1st gen b16 in an ef there are a few things that can go wrong...make sure you have a dremel and some other misc. tools ready for fab work, good luck pm me if you have any questions about the fitment...aebs get's a for acting like ti would simply bolt on...the damn thing does feel better though. so
