Default FITV

if i clean the FITV would i need to replace the intake manifold gasket? thanks for your help

why are you cleaning your fitv? is your car reving up and down?

To answer your question: No, you don't have to take off the IM, therefore, no need to replace gasket

your probably thinking of your throttle body gasket,i would cause when you take it off most likely the gasket would get messed up.

its when i start it it ideals like at 500 or 600 until i rev it then it will ideal kinda right but ideal up and down and on the fourm the person takes off the IM so i thought i would but could it runin like that because my spark plugs are fouled out from gettin water in my intake. thanks again for any help

I did not really understand what you said
BTW it's "idle" not "ideal"
From what I did gather you're not having problems with your FITV. You need to look into your IACV
