there is not really a cheap to be able to get it to reline higher. you will have to upgrade the moving parts of the motor first and that is not cheap and then that is the only way to have it reliable and have higher revs

Ill say it again, all these parts HAVE been upgraded. The engine is fully rebuilt, everything is stronger, it can easially take 8000rpm, I need to find out the cheapest way to simply rasie the rev limiter.

I don't know how cheap it will be, but there are many companies that make chips and piggy back ECU's that will allow you to override the rev limiter.

I would recommend using a new standalone ECU though. Go to http://www.hondata.com

They have programs that will allow you to program your existing ECU to achieve the higher redline.

Also try http://www.jdmhondaparts.com

i think gforce engineering can reprogram your ecu with a higher rev limit not sure how much it will cost though. i would think cheaper than hondata.

i dont think obd2 is reprogramable, thats why you need to convert to obd1.

What is with everyone wanting to rev to 10k? I just don't get it, so what if you're motor can rev that high, does it still make powr up there? In most cases you lose power that high.

10k LOL, I want to rev to 8k. I have an LS that is fully built up, it is begging me to rev higher.
