I am piecing together my turbo setup and would like some input on the Turbonetics T3 T4 57 trim turbo that comes with the drag kit.

I have a stock b16a3 engine that I'm boosting. Just seeing how much lag this turbo will have with the small displacement of the B16 engine.

When does full boost hit? RPM? Gear? I'm looking to run ~ 7 to 9 psi

ball bearing turbo considering your compression is still 10 to 1. would be 3500 rpms

non ball bearing turbo if compression is still 10 to 1. will be around 4 to 4500 rpms

 

Thank you for your response. I've gone thru a TON of threads and it seems that 4500 rpms on a stock b16 with the drag kit is ~ right. Just depends on exacttly WHICH turbo you get....
