Why not? I used it and never have a problem. Worse thing that happend is the fuel pump fuse went out once. That was it.

What went wrong?

the wire gauge he was using was too big so it drew too much current and caused it to melt

don't do that **** to the fuel, every one and there momma does that ****. you need to run a switch to the ecu power. and I tryed that fuel pump **** and that **** sucks. it didn't work that good. I shut it off, and it ran for a min. and it died and then when I turned it back on it took for every to turn on. that **** was wack.

heres a safe way to do it>>> go inside the car on your front passenger side and remove the kickpanel underneath the glovebox by the door..this is where your ECU is.. there will be a whole lot of wires but you have to find a yellow wire with a green stripe..there will only be 1 of them..make sure its not a green wire with a yellow stripe..just cut the yellow wire with the green stripe and run new wire from each end of it...run this new wire to a regular on/off switch..1 wire to each end of the switch..mount the switch to your desired location and put your kickpanel back on>>its real easy

what the hell does it matter if u do it up front or in the back? eather way does the same thing but if it melts which it proable wont but it would be under the dash.
i did it in the back under the seat fine no proablems for over 2 years. as far as the car still runing for like 1 min. the fuel has to burn all the way out.

Just go to radio shack, buy some wire that is about the same size, and splice the yellow wire with the green stripe to a switch...thats it
