Default Crappy ride with Neuspeed Race springs and Tokico Illuminas

I bought my CRX with the suspension setup already on the car. It has Neuspeed Race springs and Tokico Illumina shocks.

Well the ride quality is terrible, I think the shocks are blown. Plus there is an annoying squeaking sound in the front end whenever I drive over a big bump.

I know there is a warranty on the shocks, but since I'm lowered 2.5" am I covered? I don't have receipts or anything, should I even try? I don't know if I should buy another set of Illuminas with the race springs, should I buy a set of sport springs instead?

I drag race the car now, and usually only drive it on the weekends to the track. So I need a good suspension setup. Any advice would be appreciated

neuspeed race springs have a high lb. rate... if you do have blown shocks you are going to bounce all over... but then again... high spring rates generally arent that fun on the street.... well i still like'm but most people dont.

neuspeed race springs arent high enough rates that they would blow a set of Illuminas. which leads me to believe that either eyou dont have them adjusted properly or you have some FUBAR bushings(hence the squeaking sound.

they are at least rated in the 500s.... i think thats enough to blow illuminas... i checked with neuspeed when i bought mine and they dont recommend using anything but konis because they are so stiff

adjust your dampening and check your tire preasure... and define bad ride? is it spine altering or is it just "harsh" when you take the speed bumps into the hood?

I'm pretty sure they are blown, also there is a dark oily-looking substance all over the outsides of them. Do you think I should try to redeem the warranty on them? I think the Neuspeed Race springs lower the car 2.25", so is the warranty voided?

Also, about the squeaking sound, do you think I need to replace the bushings? How do I tell if they are bad? Which bushings should I replace?

Thanks for the help
