right now, I'm installing the head studs.
What i did was I dipped them in non-detergent oil and hand tightened them down into the block, once hand tightened, I used an allan key to tighten it a bit more.
but the thing i want to know is that once i've tightened them down with the allan key, do i use a torque wrench to torque them down?

what i normally do is tighten it down with the allan key til it wont go down anymore...i then back out 2 turns...put the head on and toqure in sequence. with lube, i was recomended 75lbs
