when u put the studs into the block your only suppose to hand tighten them. For when you torque the head down it should come with a torque sheet. I believe its 75-80 ft lbs i cant remember off the top of my head.

Go with what torque procedure ARP recommends with the lubricant that ARP recommends. The torque spec is fastener dependent, not make and model dependent.

well i have the acura service manual. (huge book tells me how to do anything) anyway i was wondering if it was okay to tighten them with more torque then factory specs because of their strength. this arp paper says 80ft lbs of torque.
so lube them up with the grease they gave me and only hand tighten them in, put the gasket down, put the head on, put the washers in lubed up, then start tightening down from the acura manual. what else should i watch out for. thanks
