Default Turbo D16Z6 w/ HKS SSQBOV... backspin?!?!?!

A friend of mine took his *WORKING* HKS SSQ BOV off his turbo volvo and sold it to me. I installed it but it won't funtion! It just stays closed. I cut the vacuum for the fuel regulator and used a T fitting going to the BOV. I'm only boosting 5PSI at the moment. Could the reason it's not working have anything to do with the vacuum hosing that i'm using? Perhaps its innder diameter is way too big or something? Does this this only work when im boosting hell of high??? I even tried adjusting the damn thing and i just wont squeal at me no matter what i do! I know it works, its just not workin for me! HELP!

the ID of the hose u are using is not big enough IMO
use a big hose about 1/4 and run it to the BOV from the brake booster

i only use the vacum from the FPR for my wastegate
