heat tank manifold?

Default heat tank manifold?

i bought a used manifold, and it looks a little dirty. i have the oppurtunity to get it heat tanked, do you think this would be a good idea? or would it cause damage to the manifold?

I think u mean hot tanked and I would get it sand blasted and paint it.

oh heh, ive heard it called both ways, i want to paint it but im not sure if the paint will hold up.

if you get it sand blasted and use high temp paint like VHT and bake it for about 5-10 minutes it should hold up pretty well.

either bead blast it, sand blast it or wire brush it and paint it.
