Default Is it ok to paint a Turbo Manifold with High-Heat Paint?

I jsut wanted to know If I could paint my turbo manifold.

It will burn off. You have to send it and get it high temp coated.

ive used 600 degree header paint, and it burned off in a few days...im going to try this new 1200 degree paint.

I got some 1500deg paint made by VHT. Its called flame-proof paint.

1500 degree paint seems to work. Mine has been painted going on two weeks now.

Damn I guess my **** must get hella hot cause I used the 1500 paint and in about two weeks the manifold looked like *** cause it all burned and chipped off.

I would say high temp coat it. http://www.hpcoatings.com Mine looks polished with the coating.

wrap it and u cant see anything dont waste money on paint it wont last long get a better manifold or wrap it

the only thing with wrap is you cant tell if there is a crack that forms
