Default exhaust gasket question

does anyone know where i can get an exhaust gasket for a Garrett T3/TO4E?

i bought one from atpturbo but its way too big...i tried looking around in other places but i can't find one.

and yes the gasket is necessary....there is a noticable gap between the turbo and downpipe. plus im only using 3 out of the 4 bolts so i really want to use a gasket to make sure there is no leaks.

Try giving Andre @ Turbo Exchange a call. I am pretty sure he will have what you are looking for. The shop's number is 704-721-6661 (Concord, North Carolina).

first of all, you may want to look into getting the downpipe closer to the turbo..i dont know how far away it is b/c no pics...downpipe should be able to move close enough to mate w/ the flange onthe turbo, if you can get that far use some high temp silicone gasket maker...its the orange stuff...thats what i use and it holds great...but there shouldnt be a large gap between the two

ok...first of all, disconnect the downpipe from the cat/test pipe or whatever you are using...then connect it to the turbo and silicone it...if it is not connected at the cat then you should be able to get it mate with the turbo...then you have to connect the downpipe to the cat...you may have to modify it or put a piece of flex pipe near the end of your downpipe in order for it to connect...that is the best way to go about that
