Im switching from a OBD2 B16A2 To B18b1 !! Questions??

Im going to turbocharge my car and want to do b18b instead of b16a2. The setup will be b18b1 + b16 tranny. Im trying to change blocks but I think I might need a wiring harness since im pretty sure that my harness wont fit on the b18b1. Right?
your going to need a b1 harness. remember your no longer goin to have vtec so it will be a different setup. Also you might want to run a ls tranny for turbo it has longer gear ratios.

WRONG. if you get a obd2 b18b1 ($650 from attarco.com, w/ waranty, but no accessories) everything should plug into your stock harness. if it doesnt, you can replace the sensor/etc with one from your b16. you will have 3 plugs left over: vtec soleniod, vtec oil pressure, and knock sensor

Are You retarded! Why do you want to loose VTEC. you are going from a SI motor with 160hp to an LS motor with 140hp/non-vtec then you put 3000$ for a turbo and gain 30-40% thats dumb...DO NOT LOOSE VTEC...the only way else to do it is put the LS engine in and add the SI head which will give you VTEC again...then you go back to 160hp...but it is a waste of money and time...

ey yo how bout last night. this ricer flys by me like he think he gon burn me yo...so i went n floored da throttle n zoomed past that dude. n then we got stopped at the frunt da stop light n when the lite went green..i was gone yo. n i was laughin cus that ricer fly by pissed me off n i ended up burning the guy real bad. then i waited fo him n started crackin up wen he wud right thurr.

if i were you id stick with v tech it helps a lot. if your want b18b at least put a v tech head on it. i believe you could keep the b16a head. just go ls v it worked for me. i got a b18b block and a type r head.

WTF Dude **** Vtec. Im not doing the swap to loose vtec. im doing it because I want a better engine for forced indunction. Lower Compression a bit easier to tune and 1.8L > 1.6L . WTF 3000K Dollars for a turbo system. I have my mani, wg, bov, piping, fuel lines, and a precision small IC all I need is the turbo dp and a fuel system witch will most likeley be uberdata but Im leaning towards hondata ...maybe. 30-40% 40% of 140 is 56 so it will be 196. No you are wrong sir you are so wrong. It all depends on the PSI you run . For me it will most likeley be 14-15 PSI and push around 300whp and about 260 tq. So shut up dude. Its my engine and my money. If I want to waste it on something you dont like ill do so. And I have a B16a2 that will most likeley be swapped in another car and have fun with that car too.

yeah dude it's his money and vtec has too much hype. ans besides he's going turbo. don't get me wrong I am not knocking vtec, I have it, i love when it kicks in. but why would you need vtec when you could have a cam profile that is almost as aggressive as vtec all the time, coupled with a good spooling turbo, you would wail on n/a civics or integras with vtec. unless your against an nsx. or maybe an s2000 those might wail on civics and integras either way.RWD rocks

About the b16-ls swap, it will be a nice setup, and like you said, you can put that b16 longblock to better use in maybe a smaller car, or even sell it to help pay the way for a nice fuel management system, or something else turbo oriented... good luck.

Honestley dude I want to just take good care of the B16a2 because when Im ready to sell my car It wont lose that much value and just in case my engine ever blows up and need a car real bad I have a backup engine.
