Default B series questions.

I currently have the d16 with the auto tranny in my 96 civic. I will be buying a B18a1 from a buddy. the motor has some milage on it so i was going to rebuild the block and put a b16 head on for the ls/vtec. So would i be able to use the cable tranny that comes with the motor or should i just get a new hydraulic tranny. thanx.

everyone of you newbs are retarded other then sp00led and the OP because he was asking the question.

it's not a harness, its a mounting plate and bar to allow your hyrdaulic clutch system work a cable transmission. Hasport makes it. the item number is EGBCC or something to that tune. it was made to allow use of the cheaper transmissions, and apparently some of the older cable trans had better gear ratios. I have this kit on my car and i am using a cable b16 trans and i have no issues. the car was old and i have had to change the master/slave but thats about it. always goes into gear its just a little stiffer.
