Default Hotrex's SOHC-T dyno sheets

You guys like dyno sheets/pics.

Car is a D16Z6, forged internals t3/t4, 450cc injectors (we swapped 550s, but had problems.)

Best of the day was:
226whp and 206 ft/lbs of tq on a dynojet.

This was at 12PSI. We did some street tuning at 16PSI, and it was MEAN, but it wouldn't hold spark on the dyno.

We had problems at 16PSI. It held on the street for street tuning, but not on the dyno. So we made the best use of the time we could and tuned for 12PSI.

MSD Ignition?

Numbers are not bad for a SOHC. Are the sleeves stock?

phiz, you probably dont like my advice and you're gonna bitch about this even more. but you really should be more careful when doing a pull running this lean:

running 14:1 that long can seriously melt things rather quickly. if you see it go leaner than 13.1 let off and richen it up.

im sure you know this, always start richer. which i think you did, and take out small increments, you're a smart guy, crunch some numbers, you can take a 10:1 afr and make it into 12:1 rather quickly.

Mase, thanks for the words. I agree with you in general, but the numbers I go by are a little different.

No, that plot wasn't the final, I published a bunch of dynos, some of them with pretty wack A/F, so that ppl can kinda follow the process. The final tune is in the first post.

I'm not 100% sure on the setup, and the final 225hp and 208 ft/lb is nothing for the record books, just kinda putting up the pics from the wekend.

Plugs were gapped at .032 I'm hearing we can go lower. Turbo, 57 trim 63/60 maybe, don't quote me on that.

Yeah drop the gap to .028 and you should be good to go.
