Default cam gears

Wondering what the opinion on cam gears is. I know that all engines are different and using a dyno is the best way to see results, but to adjust the cam gear for more top end power, how many horses should I expect? I have a 1.6l with i/h/e and zex camshaft (street performance version)

I would guess around 2-4 hp on SOHC engine but if you got the camshaft it would help you tune that cam for a better running engine.

You can expect as much as 10 hp depending on current tune of engine with just a cam gear on a SOHC.
