Default cam and cam gear question!

i have a comp cam 59300, eversince i put it in its idles erratically and has kinda of a lag until around 4k rpms, will the adjustable cam gear help and how do i adjust it?????????? if theres anyone who can help i will give you MAD PROPZ!

With a cam gear you could adjust the cam timing for your motor to get the best performance. You could like retard the intake cam a little and test it out if you like it or take it to a dyno for max power for your cam. Cam gear with help alot if you have a after maket cam shaft.

Yeah, that's probably the problem, it sounds like ur timing is off, the adjustable cam gear will help with that.

EDIT:
Well that's under the crazy assumption it's set right to begin with.
