To read abs codes you need a diag computer and special software to read the ABS codes. I would go to a good shop and just pay them to do this. here in VA we charge 65 to read ABS codes.

When the ABS light comes the system is disabled. If only one wheel is locking up and you think both should be, I'd pull your wheels off and look at your brake pads and calipers, they should look identical for the most part. While it's jacked up, I would spin your wheels to make sure the spin freely, then hit the brakes and spin them again to see if they still spin freely. If you still can't figure it out, take it to a good shop, at least you tried something though.

Older Hondas dont need any scantool equipment to pull ABS codes. These codes are pulled the same way the CEL codes are. Im not sure exactly where the jumper connector is(I think its under the passenger seat) but once it is jumpered the ABS light will blink just like the CEL does. Count your blinks and fix the prob.
