Default Best transmission for my d16z6 soch 94 civic?

Hello,

I have been looking for a new tranny, ever since I took the old one out that rocked hard (but had major problems) and replaced it with a used one that sucks ***** I have been looking for a replacement. I think that the s20 is the best for my ex but im not sure, any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

The best transmission for your D16Z6 IS the D16Z6 EX/Si transmission. It has the shortest gear ratios rather than the long ratio of the VX, CX, LX, DX transmissions. If you want to "upgrade", get yourself a D16Y8 EX 1996-2000 transmission. Stronger shift forks.

BTW, this has been covered 452,569,569,487,123,458 times. Search.
