help help!!!! type r swap no power
this is what i got integra gsr shell 95 with an obd1 ..and swaped an type R engine and used the obd2 harness hooked everything up and try to start ...key turns but no power ...? checked the fuses, checked battery...everything good...im thinking it might be a harness problem..? any body have this problem or know what it could be,,???
maybe cause you stole the motor ... and it dosent like you now.
were did you get this motor from

It would still crank despite an unprogrammed/nonexistant immobilizer. Like the man said, pull out the meter and see where you're loosing the voltage. It might just be a bad connection at the battery.

and might I ask why you'd think that would be the problem?...unless there's some new high tech motor immobilizer, then this isn't the problem. The immobilizer is only in the ecu. Could be a disconnected ground wire.

You have an OBD1 car and an OBD1 ECU, but an OBD2 harness? Your pinouts are probably wrong somewhere.

did you check the ground wire on the thermostat housing? that will cause it not to power up...ecu fuse, bad connection, anything like that
