Default help with wiring dvd head unit "saftey features"

i'm replacing pretty much all the audio equipment in my car and putting in a monitor in the center head unit. but these damn units have these "safety" features where you can't watch dvd's when the car is in motion. i just looking for alternate power sources to hook up this unit. thanks

Ususally they have you attach a wire to the Parking brake sensor. Which puts out 12V when the parking brake is engaged. So just hook that wire up to a 12V switched output so the head unit thinks that the parking brake is always on.

</TD></TR></TABLE> Dito that or just wire it like your supposed to, you can always back off the tention on the E-brake so you can trigger the DVD,[1 or 2 "clicks on the E-brake handle] but not engage the brakes themselfs 94
