the correct way????
there's lots of ways, just depends on your budget. If you plan on revving to 8k you'll need to shotpeen your rods (or get some eagles) and run some new pistons while your at it. If your leaving the head stock, then get an ls headgasket and ls/vtec kit from golden eagle (22x shipped in ht classifieds!!!). If your going to do it, do it right. You'll need some machine work, ect. Plan on dropping a few grand. I'll have 4k in mine before it's all over. Search will yeild better info. Or check c-speed.com for their ls/vtec write up
Balance your bottom end, use ARP head and rod studs for High RPM reliability. The new Sport Compact Car issue has a nice write up on DIY LSVTEC Conversion... Check it out. There is lots of information in the HT archives too. It won't cost "a few grand" either, the most expensive part you'll come across is the cylinder head... you can do most of the work yourself.
o now that i know the correct way to do it, whats the set up i should do??? should i go all aftermarket engine parts or stay all honda parts or do a mix match of parts??
