Doing ITBs on my beater. Right now it is a stock D16Z6 with 2.25" exhaust, intake **** that will be ripped off, walbro 255hp, and a b&m fuel reg. The ITBs just came in they are 2001 CBR 600F4i 38mm. I am just experimenting with this setup, just a low buck car so i can get my feet wet with tunning before i finish my crx for next year, and start tunning it. Well with that being said here are my Q's
I've allready heard about the TPS wires must be switched thats no problem, I allready did that once, it was a 88DX. The IACV I hear just plug it in and let it hang or wire up a resistor of some sort thats fine. Then run vacumm lines from each TB to a vacumm log and hook your IAT, MAP, fuel pressure reg line, and brake booster line to it. It appears that the vaccum actuated thing off to the side is the idle control for the itbs thats cool just hook up more vac lines no problem. my question is, it appears it sucks the idle air from the small holes on the intake side of the itbs between the big openings. so this will have to be filtered also, correct?
I am going to use the injectors in the throttle bodies and place the ITB's futher to the rear of the engine bay to get better atomization, and gain torque what would be the optimum runner length?
Now to engine management, I plan on using uberdata to tune the car. Once I get the manifold on and everything hooked up correctly, the car will be driveable, correct? I read about people saying that this isn't true and other saying it is, just want to clarify. I can deal with it running rich and getting bad gas mileage that is fine. Just as long as I can rely on it to get me back and forth from work, while I'm tunning it.
Thanks in advance.

you deff. have to switch the wires around , but i've heard that you will need to block off the iac. as well instead of just letting it hang ..
when you get this setup done please post your methods cause i'm doing the same concept but with 954 itb's and i am curious what works the best !!
