Before I get flamed, I searched already and found a variety of answers so i figured id just post myself. I'm going to be Boostin an LS wth stock internals (Just until i save up more money to build it up) and dropping it in my Civic Coupe. This is going to be my daily driver etc eventhough I put tops 60-75 miles on my car a week. My question is this, at what boost would you keep it at and know your cars going ot be reliable at all times, and what is the max boost you would fool around and and roughly what kind of numbers do you think I could be putting up? I know your going to say depends on the turbo etc, i just want an estimate with a decent to good turbo. Thanks

 

Boost doesn't always matter...its what amount of power the motor can handle. For example....if you have a really small turbo you could boost 25psi and make 300whp and run safe....but you only need 14psi on a bigger turbo to make 300whp n be safe. But if you run a decent size turbo (t3/t04e) i would leave it on 10psi daily. As far as max boost I've pushed 17psi.....
