I installed my JVC system but thers a problem..help plz?

Default I installed my JVC system but thers a problem..help plz?

car: Honda CIVIC 1998 Hatckback.
ok, everything works fine. only problem is ...when the enjine is off my cd deck still plays. this is becuse i coudlnt connect the accessorie wire properly. theres also 2 spare wires and i dont know what they are for. all speaker wires are fine. help any1?

might help if you told us which wires they are, what color are they?

prolly the two spare wires are the remote wires for the external amp, or motorized antenna.

so you didnt connect the ignition wire to your deck? Why couldnt you?

I'm guessing that he cut the deck harness, and either popped the switched 12v fuse, or somehow rendered the circuit inoperable. Just run a new switched 12v lead (fused) from either the fusebox or ignition harness. You could even tap the heater control switched 12v if you were so inclined.

Default ive fixed it

yeah there is two spare wires. one for the antenna and the otehr i think for the amp. i blew one of the red fuses so had to replace it.
