well i have the ungo ms2000

its a pretty basic alarm but its good enough for me.
my only problem with it is the range for the remote sucks. i mean it is terrible, maybe like 15-20 feet and its driving me nuts

they make extended range antenna's for some of their other models of alarm, is their any reason these antenna's wouldnt work for me? or would it more likely be the remote that causes the lack of range. what if i bought a replacement remote for the same model as the extended range antenna is intended for??

where is the antenna at? is it just a wire antenna under the dash? or is it a mounted antenna in the a-pillar or headliner or on the windshield......
try holding the remote to below ur chin and open ur mouth...serisouly...this does work..it will extend ur range dramatically. also try replacing the battery..that usually is the case when my customers have range problems....

the extended range ones i was talking about are a pillar mounted though.

hm ill let you know about that chin thing though. (hehe sounds kinda dumb)

 

the pillar mounted antennas will increase range...and seriously the chin thing does work!

no problem..just a lil trick i have found out over the years...but damn liek u said...practically doubles your range...great for remote starts and such.
