Default alarm antenna

is this idea nuts?...I dunno if im thinkin right or not. But I was thinkin on splicing the alarm antenna lead up with the stereo antenna to increase the range on the remote. would it work?

hmm most alarms I've seen say NOT to extend the antenna wire I dont think splicing into the radio antenan would work well.. dunnoz.. if you have a Clifford w/ the Coaxial looking connector.. you can buy an antenna kit.. if you have a Viper HF/ESP unit.. i dont see why you need to extend the range as the range is pretty good...
