i dont know if this is normal, my vtec kick in at 4.5 and the ecu is from a 98 gsr. Is it chipped? I also know i have a problem with my check light engine that's on rite now, i feel vtec, i checked my oil, what can it be? PLease help me out!!!

3 inch aem cold air intake
msd 6 al
act stage 3 racing clutch
vfac vtec controller
B&m fuel pressure regulator

 

no knock sensor installed, thats one of your problems i'll tell you that.

 

uhmm.... another problem you will have with the check engine light is because of the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor. all 94-97 Tegs do not have this sensor, so even if you fix all the other problems, knock sensor.... etc... your check engine light will still be triggered by the low reading on the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor.

You should probably find another ECU for your application.

 

My knock sensor is installed, but it just a little loose.

 

will this check light engine do anything if i race? will it hold me back or naw? thanks a lot man.
