I have a water/oil cooled turbo. Would it be ok if i blocked off the water feed and return and just ran the turbo straight oil cooled?? I dont know if this will damage the turbo, but i have heard that people do this alot on nissan turbos.

 

You can do it, but for 5 dollars more, just run the water lines, if the turbo is made for water give it water. It is very easy to do, I don't know why you wouldn't do it.
