I'm going to be runing an Ls-R. B18a block with usdm type r piston and a complete stock 00 type r head with a mugen head gasket. How much Horsepower and torque and compresion should i expect? Oh yeah it gonna be in a 90 ls 2 door and how fast u think i'll run at the track?

Depending on what bolt-ons you pick, and what you decide to tune with, I would guess anywhere from 170-190whp. Here's a dyno plot offa importreview with a setup similar to yours:



He's got JDM typeR pistons, but your smaller headgasket sort of makes up for it. Good luck on the build, I am going LS-R as well

 

160-170 hp maybe with what youve listed...14.3's to 14.5

 

how the hell we gonna know what you are going to run at the track? driving means a lot

 

with an LS/VTEC youd be in the 14's for sure

 

Not necessarily. There are alot of factors to driving. He could be a horrible driver, and be in the 15s or even 16s.

 

judging by the wording of your question...you will more than likely be running high 15s if the motor is built perfectly...a good driver on the other hand....

I have stock b18b block, with b16a head b16a cams, intake manifold and throttle body. I also have AEM CAI and stock header, Tanabe exhaust with high flow cat and tuned on Hondata. I ran 15.0 and Im not very good at straight line games..

My car could easily be in the 14's with some more launching practise, almost stock lsvtec will run a low low 15.. so Im sure your ride could pull mid to low 14..

 

Operative word "SHOULD" be an easy 14 second car on street tires.
