Default Super-T dyno run

Sitting at the dyno typing this right now (getting ready for Joliet this weekend)...just hit 697 WHP, 674 TRQ @ 29 psi tonight. (2JZ stock head, cams, block). This was a spike on the graph, but power levelled out at 650 WHP (28 psi).

As some of you know, earlier in the year we ran a 10.5@132 MPH and that was on 19 psi which made 480 WHP. We're hoping for some 9s this weekend with the extra ~200 HP! We'll see those of you there who are going at the track. Don't be shy to come and introduce yourself!

with traction, you shouldn't have much problem it seems to hit 9s.

Good luck!

Holy Cow!! I'd give almost anything to make that much power!! *drool*

Good luck Seth...I've heard a lot of people here in MN talking about going to Joliet rather than RockFalls this coming up weekend. Also heard you get better time slips down there due to elevation...this true?? I haven't been there so I wouldn't know...

This is impressive Dave, Alyssa, Seth....I think last time they used a t72(which I'n sure they're still using).

THe reason why everybody gets such good 1320 times is because Route 66 is sticky as gum

Yeah we should be in the same class.

Thanks man! I don't know about elevation, I think it's about the same as in MN, but I guess I don't know for sure. The track is just awesome; many racers would agree it's one of the best in the country.

Rock Falls has good elevation and bad track prep..

Joliet is a good track yes-- but probably not worth th 7 or 8 hour drive from the cities considering you can drive to Rock Falls in an hour or here in 2.5

Gummy Route 66 starting line + extra new found power = driveline failure.

Nice 1/4 twist added to the middle of the driveshaft.

Launched off the two step at 5500 rpm, twisted the driveshaft, tore the mounts off the rear end housing, the housing then rotated upwards, yanking the driveshaft out and slightly bending the output shaft on the transmission as it now howls and doesn't shift for ****...

Found a local junkyard, they had a housing, got it, had the old rear end swapped out by 930pm. Other racers at the track were EXTREMELY helpful...

Next day, First pass, slipped the clutch off the line, but wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th...aborted pass...

Next pass, slipped it off the line, went to go for third, with a little persuasion it went in(well, a couple of seconds of persuasion) Boost came back on, hit fourth, Ran a 11.3 @ 137mph...

Oh well...need a new tranny...

9's will have to wait...

Oh yeah, case you didnt know, we swapped in a five speed before the race...no more powerglide...
