I would like to do a tune up on my car. I was wondering what exactly i should do. Which parts to check, and replace. Thank you all.

 

the most common things to replace in a tune up are plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, air filter, pcv.

I would revise that list and say at the least....oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter. For a major service add, spark plugs, inspect/replace plug wires, trans fluid, inspect/replace cap/rotor, adjust valves and inspect/replace belts.

 

what about timing belt?

 

Timing belt should be done every 5-6 years, or 100K.
