Default SI just hit 60K Miles what should i do.......

well i bought my car (00 Si) when it had 55,000 Mi and i just hit 60,000, and i don't know what the previous owner did in terms of scheduled maintanance. I'm going to change the air filter becuase it's dirty, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. my question is if i'm missing anything that i should do just to keep the car in good shape, should i change the timing belt? also i have I/H/E and CTR cams what kind of spark plugs and wires should i get for the best performance or should i just get stock . thanks.

1) flush the cooling system
2) adjust your e-brake

stock spark plugs, stock wires, cap and rotor, oil change (with filter), fuel filter, timing belt, air filter, tranny oil change, belts if needed, ajust valve lash, make sure the intake manifold and throttle body is clean and flush the coolant system (make sure you run the heater. don't buy any special spark plugs or wires, there not going to net you any more power. just get some ngk plug and wires, flush the coolant system, replace air/fuel filter, check belts, check valve clearances, and enjoy having a low mileage whip.

Oh i pretty much copied what everyone else said. haha lol

If you have a I/H/E & cams, I'm assuming you have a tuned EMS? If not, that would be the next step. Running too lean will kill your plugs, stress your motor, heat your header up much more than normal, and possibly burn your valves.

Running a tuned car will last you more miles than an untuned car with a basic tune-up.

examine them to see of any cracking or worn spots. If you look closely, it's not hard to see...that is if they need to be changed.60,000 miles is not a lot, so as long as you take good care of your motor, should run like a champ.

he was saying a tune is good for I/H/E+cams. Anytime you mess with the stoke of the valvetrain you should get someone to tune it.

If its just I/H/E no tune needed.
