Default Question about tune ups (real stupid question)

I was wondering what is supposed to be done in a tuneup?

I hear a lot of people saying tune up, but I don't exactly know what kind of things should be done. Is oil change considered one?

Cap and rotor, plugs and wires, fuel filter, air filter, tranny fuild change, oil change, brake pads if they need to be changed, timing belt, coolant flush and many more can't think of right now.
