Default vtec controller dyno setting question

i just got the fields vtec controller installed into my hatch..any suggestions on what i should leave the vtec crossover set at before i go get it dyno tuned for it to run correctly? here is my mods.. *nothing heavy* d16z6 i/h/e/y8 im and i got a custom 2.25 exhaust..runnin obd-1 with obd-0 injectors *for now* and a p28 the vtec engagement was set at 4200 but i bumped it up to 5000...what should i leave it at for now until i get it tuned..or does it really need a tune since i dont have alot of bolt ons? jus reg i/h/e

a vtec controller wont do anything if you are running stock cam.if you change it from the stock rpm setting,your motor will run like ****
