alright after a long time, i decided to drop the b16 myself. i dont work, so all i have is time
anyways, i dropped the sucker in (jdm b16a), and bolted it in tight.
as i was plugging things in, i noticed i had lots of "adapters" or "plugs" left.
ok my car is a 90 crx HF, and i THINK, im using an si wiring harness.
there all mostly near the intake manifold, and let it be known i have bought 3 intake manifolds. i will pics tomorrow.
Now, The questions:
1. why dont i have the plugs for the fuel injectors? am i suppost to buy them or should they be on the harness?
2. i need a specific diagram of the wiring (not just vacuum hose..) remember HF.
i already searched and has helped me alot. i just need those ?'s answered

alright, i kinda get the idea of the plugs for the fuel injectors, now my main concern is hooking up green plug on the solenoid, and the one sensor coming out of it. i will get pics tomorrow.
anyone mind taking a pic of everything around the manifold? Thanks

I've never swapped on an HF, but I have read that while the HF and Si are MPFI, there are a couple differences ibetween the two harnesses.
You said you "think" you're using an SI harness, but it's missing two plugs? Sounds like a DX harness to me...or as said earlier, the harness has been cut.
Go back and use your HF harness.
I had done some preliminary research awhile back but never finished:

DONT US THE HARNESS THAT CAME WITH THE ENGINE!! Did you not read what we said? Use the one that matches the car.
The white plug that you called a lil ****** is vtec solenoid, and the green one is the vtec pressure switch, the plastic around the edges is broken off.
PS, thats a dx harness thats on your car right now, you will never get it to run with that.

alright guys i am almost done with my MPFI swap, but i have a question.
i wired everything up, except for injector 1 i think (brown wire) im suppost to connect it to a yellow injector wire my old motor had...but which one? is it the one on the green plug? because i used the (yellow/black) wire from that plug to connect it to the resistor. let me know
also, anyone have pics of a j1 tranny? i wanna see how the fork looks so i can buy it.
and i still need to know how to wire the hoses for the manifold

GREEN -theres holes here. so screws go in there or is it open like that?
YELLOW - what goes there?
RED - and this is known as?
ORANGE - where does it connect it to?
Red- dashpot???? Controls the fall of revs between shifts. That hose goes to the stock intake arm.
yellow- Thats the 88-91/92 civic/crx sir manifold, so nothing goes there. There is something there on the integra version.
green- the right side a brake booster hose goes into. The left side is your iacv(correct if wrong) and a coolant hose from the back of the block plugs into the bottom.
orange- thats the pcv, it continues down into the "black box" on the back of the block.
Hope I helped a little. Ryan
