91 LS into 89 HF
I just finished (about 90%) putting a 91 B18 (LS) into my boys 89 CRX HF. Well the install went fairly well and easy, but when we started it up it threw one light, code 13, which is barometric pressure. Well we are running the correct ecu and came out of a car with no check engine lights. Any ideas on what to do about that code, all the manuals say to take it to a dealer to fix, but no dealer will touch a motorswaped car, so what do you all suggest? Also , currently the car is not mobile because we need to get the exhaust redone so the flanges on the downfall pipe lineup with the rest of the exhaust, could that be a problem that we are more or less starting it open header?

A little research will show you that the HF harness has a couple of things that you don't need. You will neet to cut the wire at B9 and B11 on the ECU plug. B9 tells the ECU the tranny is in reverse and B11 tells the ECU the clutch is disengaged. This is "HF only" stuff and will freek out other ECU's. I had to do this with my LS swap and PR4 ECU to get the check engine light to go out.
