Friday morning Sept. 24 ... co worker tells me that someones car has been broken into with glass shattered into a million pieces... come out of my work and what luck... it was my poor 88 CRX broken into... cant believe that theives would even look into a old beat up CRX... damn thieves... anyways luckily nothing else but my cheap Pyramid Cd player was the looking taken and my driver side window shattered.. but the idea still pisses me off... thieves just got no life...

that sucks dude that happened to my friend a month or so ago. to add insult to injury he fell a sleep at the wheel 6 days later, no tunes to keep him awake, and woke up just in time to cheat death and save the car. he induced a spin avoiding a guard rail and clocked a sign with his rear bumper shattering it. The spoon lip lived another day though.

what really sucks is, i can break in an EF in less than 5 seconds without breaking anything, and I've never stolen anything ever. why don't theives learn how to do it, sitting on broken glass is a terrible thing to do. as easy as our cars are to break into every EF owner should have an alarm IMO.

 

Someone stole a pile of 12 bricks out of my backyard, like seriously, is a chance of going to jail and me kicking your *** worth $5 of old bricks?

They did the same to me couple of years ago... It was in Fresno, CA at a night party and there are over 200 cars there in the parking lot, with people outside.
I didn't care much about the deck... cheap turn ****, detachable face...
But it cost me 200 for the window. that's what **** me off...

 

200 chucks man, I could have gotten you one for 30 at the local yard, I could even ship it for way less than that. What I used to do when I had a beater that wasn't worth **** and didn't have anything in it worth anything. I just leave it unlocked. Last night I fell asleep on my couch and forgot to lock my car, so it sat all night with the windows down unlocked, with a digital camera, and a didgital camcorder, sitting on the seat. a 1200 eclipse monitor, and no worries, you why? I keep loaded weapons hidden all over my house for this reason. Everone knows better.

Someone threw one of those crappy bricks through my rear quarter window to steal my headunit...........and that's all the idiots stole. Had all my tools in the back under the cover and they never bothered to look. Idiots. Who breaks the smallest window in a car and climbs through it????? Dumb. And for a crappy head unit.

that sucks... same thing happened to me when i was trying to sell my 90 rex... a potential buyer asked to split the cost of inspection with me so she would know what it needed to pass. so i took it to an inspection station, had to leave it overnight for them to look at it the next day. they call me the next day saying my window was busted out and the cd player (a shitty old kenwood) and crappy no-name 8" subs were stolen. looks like they tried to get my front speakers but those speaker grilles are screwed in so they just cracked them a little. my dash got all beat up but i was able to glue it back together. the shop paid for a new window for me though. luckily we had an old stock CRX radio to throw in there just to get it sold. the potential buyer didn't buy the damn car after that either...

theives are such bastards. be glad they didn't take the whole car... i was mad but at least i still had the car itself.

same thing happened to me twice.... first time took my old skoo sony player and broke my window.... second time took my kenwood, my plug wires, my ecu, my GSR SHORTBLOCK!!!! and a built b16 head.... people say its my fault but theres not much i can do... i have an alarm on my car but i was only gone for 2 hours needless to say... it pissed me off

I've had a CD player stolen, so I replaced it with a cheaper one.

That was stolen so I replaced it with a stock honda tape deck.


...then they stole my tapes but left the ******* tape deck.


So then I put in a broken Sony CD player I had lying around and waited outside. A white 99 civic si pulls up 3:30AM and someone jumps out. I pull out the aluminum bat I had under my lawn chair and start running yelling "nice car douchebag!" Guy looks up, runs to his car and pulls off. I don't know why I said something that stupid but my body filled with so much rage I think I was going to destroy the SI with the bat. I don't remember exactly what happened. I got the plate number and sent it into police. They said it was for an 88 Chevy Truck from out east. So... they never found him.

And that's my story on thieves. Haven't been fucked with since. I'm sorta glad he ran off because EF Owner + Bat + Theif = Homicide

Yes, I've gotten an alarm since. And yes I also got a life.
