Honda MTF.

Or if it has grinding gears, GM syncromesh.

Landrover do a gearbox oil called mtf 94. It's got the same spec as honda mtf and is much easier to get hold of over here. A lot of Honda garages over here just tell you to use engine oil "that's what we use" so beware.

That's what Iput in mine and it quietened it down a treat. Stopped the synchro crunch fopr about 6 months of spirited driving including 1/4 miles.

or you CAN use the engine oil BUT i prefer to use one quart of engine oil and a quart and a half of lucas 100% patroleum took me about a half an hour to get the **** in the gear box it was so thick but it works great same in the motor run a whole quart and 2 quarts oil dry starts go away fast...not to mention it keeps the ring lands built up for great compression..
