Default anyone try AMSOIL Synthetic Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30 in their transmission

I've tried Honda MTF, 10w-30, Lucas stabilizer and with all my shifting was still hard on really cold mornings. Think about trying this

do you move the gears while its warming up? MTF should be all you need to use

It's really a last resort kind of fluid.

Quoted for truth.

Honda also makes a new smoother mtf fluid that you might want to try, although I doubt that will help drastically.

no abuse. Actually drive it very carefully. Almost 200k miles on it though but I've heard of honda manual trannies runny easily well over 200k

Yes, I've tried it in my 2000 Honda Civic and it was fantastic. I immediately was able to go around corners without lugging the engine and do it one gear higher. It also added 5% to my mpg. No problems in shifiting either.
