CEL, Cant check it, whats wrong?
Ive searched and found out how to check the CEL codes but I can't get mine to work. I went as far as cutting the blue connector off and splicing the wires to make sure they were getting contact with each other. Still nothing. My CEL only comes on when im driving and shuts off when I turn her off. Then it doesn't come back on till im driving again. Ive tried to check the CEL whille the engine was running but all it does is give the engine a slight hesitation then it goes on its business and the CEL is still on with no flashes or blinks. I tried the conventional way of connecting the wires and turning the ignition to the on position and still no signal. Im lost and don't know what to do.
someone please help, I need to fix this problem,
my computer in the car is an OBD0 PO8 if that helps anyone.

Are you thinking the CEL itself will blink the code?
You have to pull the carpet in the passenger footwell up and look at the LED on the ECU. (speaking from my 91 Si experience, I believe some years had it under the passenger seat as well)
Also, mine does it without jumping the blue connector.

Nope. Check the LED on the ECU. If I recall correctly, the next chassis (EG/92-95) was the first one with the codes coming out the CEL.
Also, I don't know if you've got some weird procedure for getting the codes (usually key on, key off, key on, key off, key on, or something like that), but you don't need to do that, either. Just get a view of the LED and turn the key on.
